LISBON (Reuters) - Nearly 1,700 students aged between 12 and 67 gathered at the University of Lisbon's IST school of technology on Saturday to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest computer programming lesson in a single venue.
PETALING JAYA: “I don’t fully remember what happened; the next thing I knew, I was in a drain,” says Universiti Teknologi Mara Dungun student Muhammad Ammar Danish Mohammad Ridwan, 20, who survived a crash that killed three of his friends after they were struck by a sports utility vehicle at Jalan Pantai Sura on Wednesday.
“At first, it was just Khairil and me who planned to buy some items after completing a co-curricular activity at the campus, but then Akmal and Adib also said they wanted to join us. Muhammad Ammar said he is deeply affected by the loss of his three close friends but has accepted their fate. “My head also hurts—the doctor said it’s from the fall. Please pray for me to stay strong and fully recover soon,” he said.
