Kodiaks lost championship match in three sets to Surrey

The Prince George U-16 Kodiaks Red cemented their status as one of the top girls club volleyball teams in the province over the weekend at the Lower Mainland Super Series tournament in Burnaby.

The Kodiaks advanced all the way to the Division 1 final and lost the three-set match to Raincity Rapture of Surrey 2-1 .Coached by Mark LaFleur, Prince George Red went 2-1 in pool play and defeated Thunder Blue in a quarterfinal playoff, winning 2-1 .The U-16 Kodiaks Black from Prince George went 1-2 in pool play and lost in the quarterfinals 2-0 to BCO.
