A recent survey conducted by Research Co. shows that the United Kingdom and Japan are the most-liked countries for Canadians while North Korea is the least favoured country.
According to the survey, older Canadians aged 55 and over hold the most favourable views on the United Kingdom, with 90 per cent expressing positivity towards the country.

Specifically, 71 per cent of Canadians aged 18 to 34 and 35 to 54 have a favourable view of the U.K., indicating a slightly lower level of admiration compared to the older demographic.
In comparison, Atlantic Canada shows a slightly lower proportion of positive views, with 77 per cent of respondents holding a favourable opinion of the United Kingdom. Ontario follows closely with 71 per cent, while Quebec exhibits the lowest percentage of positive views at 70 per cent. Slightly over half of Canadians hold favourable views of the United States while the percentage is higher for South Korea at, 58 per cent with a one-point increase since January.
