The magic moment happened at the 2023 World Championships in Athletics in Hungary. Two female pole vault athletes shared the gold medal for having the same best jump.

Both athletes are Katie Moon from the United States, who has a reputation as the defending champion and gold medalist of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and Nina Kennedy from Australia, who has never won a major title. In the competition at the National Athletics Center in Budapest on Wednesday night local time or early Thursday morning Indonesian time, both had the best jump of 4.90 meters. They surpassed Wilma Murto from Finland, who stopped at a jump of 4.80 meters and won the bronze medal.
Kennedy has not yet achieved many spectacular accomplishments. He only recently won championships at the Diamond League and the Commonwealth Games in 2022.
