Harbour Grace RCMP arrested and charged two impaired drivers in separate incidents. FileHARBOUR GRACE, N.L. — Two people are facing impaired charges stemming from separate incidents over the weekend in Harbour Grace.
The first incident occurred just before 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, when police received a report of a suspected impaired driver.The 69-year-old driver was arrested for impaired driving after he failed a roadside breath test.The second incident happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, when police received a call reporting that a vehicle was off the roadway on the Heart’s Content barrens.
Both drivers were released from police custody and are set to attend court at a later date to answer charges of impaired driving.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
