Police are investigating after two people have died and two others are in hospital in a crash in the state's Northern Rivers region.
About 10.30pm yesterday emergency service crews were called to Yamba Road , Maclean after two vehicles collided.
Two passengers in the ute, a man believed to be in his 30s and a 41-year-old man, were freed from the wreckage by members of the NSW State Emergency Service.
