A man and a woman are both dead after a stabbing at a home in Brampton late Wednesday night.
Police were initially called to the address on Quarry Edge Drive near Bovaird Drive and Main Street at around 11:30 p.m. for a domestic situation.
Paramedics tell CP24 that the woman was rushed to hospital via emergency but was pronounced dead some time later. The man was not transported to hospital and was pronounced dead on scene. There were initial reports suggesting that a third individual was also taken to hospital, though that person’s current condition is not known.The SIU is an arm’s length agency that is called in whenever police are involved in a death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault.
