Two people have died and two others were transported to hospital after a small plane crash near the Tahsis Inlet, northwest of Tofino.

Mounties on Vancouver Island say two people have been killed in the crash of a small plane northwest of Tofino on Vancouver Island.Nootka Sound RCMP says at approximately 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, officers were notified of a plane crash near Mizona Point.
Initial information indicated that the aircraft, a Quest Kodiak 100, was occupied by four individualsTwo passengers died, and two others were transported from the crash scene to CFB Comox by Joint Rescue Coordination Centre and Canadian Armed Forces personnel. BC Emergency Health Services then transported them to the hospital with injuries.
