Two people injured after a single-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian

Toronto police are investigating after a single-vehicle collision sent two pedestrians to hospital in the city’s west end.Toronto paramedics said a female pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by the vehicle.with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers added she was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but Toronto paramedics couldn’t confirm that.

Police said the driver remained on the scene and the circumstances surrounding the incident were still under investigation. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes as Eglinton Avenue West remains closed between Keele Street and Caledonia Road.
