The county has purchased two outdoor rink kits with funding from the federal government.
The rinks are being set up at Rossmore Park and Consecon Park and should be ready for use in the coming days. Updates will be posted on County social media pages. Recreation and Community Facilities is leading the initiative with support for flooding and maintenance to be provided by Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue and volunteers.
The rinks will be available for use from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and rink maintenance will be conducted each day. Shovels will be available for light maintenance by users.No food or beverages on the ice surfaceNo consumption of alcohol as per provincial regulationsThe outdoor rinks are available for all to use and should be used at your own risk.
