Firefighters freed two drivers who were each trapped in separate crashes Tuesday morning.

The man in his 20s suffered serious injuries, the Ottawa Paramedic Service said. He was taken to the trauma centre in stable condition. At about 7:09 a.m., firefighters were called to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Cedarview Road and West Hunt Club Road.
