Former AFL star-turned media personality Kane Cornes has unloaded on Qantas, following a tumultuous week for the under-pressure airline.

The 40-year-old said he received a text message from Qantas in the early hours of the morning, informing him that his earlier flight has been cancelled and moved to a later time.“Apologies to everyone. I’ve got no make-up on; I’ve got sleep in my eyes. “Bloody Qantas. You should never fly… I’m always a Virgin person, I’m a Virgin man. Richard Branson and the crew, they look after me.”
