There was “a lot to be said” for British Prime Minister Liz Truss’ mini-budget, says Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“The turmoil surrounding the new British Prime Minister, Liz Truss, highlights how hard it is just now, to govern effectively from the centre-right,” she said.
“Governments do need to cut taxes and regulations in order to reward effort and to build economic growth.“And when that spooked the markets, rather than explain it, or even defend it, Truss hid from the media and barely left her Downing Street bunker for over a week.”
