Turkey parliament to vote on Finland’s Nato bid
Turkey is set to become the last Nato member to approve Finland’s membership into the defence alliance after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan approved the country’s candidacy earlier this month. – AFP pic, March 30, 2023.
TURKEY is set today to become the final Nato member to approve Finland’s membership in the US-led defence alliance in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Turkey’s parliament scheduled a vote on the Nordic country’s bid to become the 31st member of the Western defence alliance for 2pm .
