The Johor Regent said that 90% of the football fields nationwide are in a “terrible” state.
: Regent of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim recently called for an overhaul in Malaysia’s football infrastructure, emphasising the need for a shift in mindset in order to see better progress for the sport in the country.
The X post was also accompanied with other images of a waterlogged football field, with no information on the location of the pitch. “Neighbouring countries have already upgraded their football infrastructures. We only talk about change but no action ,” he added.
