Hikers in Durham Region can expect to see more dump trucks at Whitby’s Heber Down Conservation Area for the next few weeks.

Starting Monday, crews will be bringing in topsoil to create new topographical features. They will also be planting more native trees and shrubs in the area. The trucks will come in through the entrance on Cochrane Street. The project is scheduled through mid-March.
