The truck on its side while emergency crew survey the damage.Emergency crews, including local firefighters, Colchester County District RCMP and EHS, responded to a cement truck that flipped onto its side, off of Hwy. 102, near Exit 13 , Tuesday morning at, approximately 10:30 a.m.
With the assistance of the Department of Public Works, Hwy. 102 going south towards Brookfield-Halifax was initially reduced to one lane, then completely closed so the truck could be removed. Once the truck was removed and the spilled concrete was cleaned from Hwy. 102, the road was reopened.It was reported the driver received minor injuries and was turned over to paramedics at the scene.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
