A truck ban in Metro Cebu has caused disruptions to logistics and traffic congestion, with the local government implementing a schedule to limit the movement of heavy trucks and cargo vehicles on specific roads.

“Increasing vehicular congestion, particularly involving heavy trucks and cargo vehicles, has resulted in: traffic gridlocks; increased road accidents; delays in emergency response; and economic inefficiencies in the Province of Cebu,” natala sa maong EO.
