The Department of Interior and Local Government approves tricycle transport service in Pasig City starting on Monday

Sotto also posted the set guidelines to be observed by tricycle drivers and operators, as well as by the riding public.

Only one passenger will be allowed to ride a tricycle, but an individual who needs to seek medical attention, will be permitted to be accompanied by one other person.According to Sotto, tricycle units have to be disinfected at least twice a day. The city government will be providing disinfectants to tricycle operators.

Private tricycles are also allowed to travel provided that they will post a “Not for hire” signage. The same rules apply to private tricycles. Other forms of public transportation including jeepneys, trains, and buses, are still not permitted to operate in areas under modified enhanced community quarantine.
