Sydney has been hit by a wild storm which has donned trees and cancelled trains.
Sydney Airport saw a gust of 82km/h at 3.10pm, with a heavy downpour of rain also hitting the city just after 3pm.
The fierce winds are associated with a low-pressure system sitting in the Tasman Sea which is extending a cold front along the NSW coast, Weatherzone said.A tree on the tracks at Guildford has cancelled trains between Cabramatta to Granville on the T2 Inner West & Leppington Line and the T5 Cumberland Line."Passengers are advised to delay their trips or allow plenty of extra travel time," Sydney Trains said.
