SCOTRAIL has announced details of alternative travel arrangements for commuters following the fire at the Station Hotel in Ayr.
Glasgow-Girvan via Kilmarnock: 1712Replacement buses were confirmed for the following locations and times:Replacement buses have also been confirmed to operate between Ayr and Girvan.
Firefighters remained at the scene long into the night after 15 appliances were called to deal with the blaze. Dramatic footage showed the fire raging in the southern section of the building, behind scaffolding and sheeting previously put up to protect the structure.
