A 10-year-old boy has been charged with multiple offences after a 24-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in broad daylight on the streets of Cairns on Wednesday.
The normally bustling area is filled with shops and local businesses, just metres away from the Esplanade which fronts the coastline.“When she walked past the 10-year-old male child, he has sexually assaulted her,” Detective Inspector Kevin Goan said, addressing the media in the hours after the incident.
