KUALA LUMPUR: The Fire and Rescue Department was called in to rescue a trapped motorist following a two-vehicle collision along the Middle Ring Road 2.
Operations Commander Mohd Fakhrusy Syakirin Mamat said they received a distress call about the accident at 12.32pm on Monday .
"Two fire engines and an emergency medical rescue services vehicle were dispatched to the scene with 15 personnel members. "They arrived at the scene and found that a Perodua Myvi and lorry had been involved in an accident and the driver of the car was pinned in the vehicle," he said in a statement on Monday."The victim suffered a broken left hand and was taken to the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre for further treatment," he said.
