Chelsea are optimistic of completing the transfer of Barcelona striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but see the former Arsenal captain as a stop-gap.
Thomas Tuchel has spent over £150million already this summer, but is yet to bring in a direct replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku has returned to Inter Milan on a two-year loan after a miserable season back at Stamford Bridge.However, according to The Telegraph, Chelsea have already identified RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku as their No.1 priority for next summer. The Blues have been forced to wait for Nkunku, who signed a new contract during the close of the season.
