KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic is still slow-moving on major highways as at 10pm on Monday (April 24).

According to a Malaysian Highway Authority spokesman, in the north, traffic flow is heavy southbound from Kepala Batas to Hutan Kampung; Alor Setar Utara to Gurun; Sungai Petani Utara to Bertam and Bukit Tambun to Jawi.

"In addition, heavy traffic is also reported from Bandar Baharu to Sungai Perak; Simpang Pulai to the Tapah rest and service area ; Hentian Ladang Bikam to Sungkai and Tanjung Malim to Rawang. "Slow and heavy traffic is also reported northbound from Tapah to Simpang Pulai; Ipoh Utara to Sungai Perak; Kuala Kangsar to Bukit Gantang R&R and Changkat Jering to Jawi," he said.
