Tourism Ministry actively promoting Sarawak's unique charms, says Tiong

SIBU: The Tourism , Arts and Culture Ministry is actively promoting the unique charm of Sarawak ’s multi-ethnic traditional festivals to the international community.

"We are in it together to forge a brighter future together. The homestay programme will be able to effectively help villagers develop more diversified sources of income and improve the standards of living for our Dayak compatriots," Tiong said in his Gawak message on Friday . The harvest festival , he said, could act like a vibrant interactive museum, featuring the ancient wisdom and customs of the Dayak to co-exist with nature.

"We look forward to taking part in rich and meaningful cultural rituals, feasting on authentic local cuisine, singing, dancing, and being joyous with each other’s fortunes.
