Local merchandise sales have climbed 90 per cent year-on-year and transactions for SpursPlay, the club’s online streaming service that offers behind-the-scenes content and match replays, have increased 106 per cent. Munn is one of several Australians brought in to shake up Spurs and deliver its fans a chance to become Premier League champions for the first time since the club began.He leads all on- and off-field football-related activity – from the transfer of star players such as Timo Werner, Radu Drăgușin and Matildas star Charlotte Grant to the Women’s Super League team, to academy operations.
Spurs has spent millions of pounds on players with little to show for it. Last year, the club sacked manager Antonio Conte – its sixth in 10 years. In April last year, Spurs’ managing director, Fabio Paratici, resigned after losing an appeal in Italy against a 30-month ban from the game for his role in alleged false accounting at his previous club, Juventus.In June, Levy secured Postecoglou from Celtic FC on a four-year contract.
