Toronto police have made arrests and are searching for suspects following separate carjacking incidents in the city.The first incidents happened August 19 in the area of Meadowvale Road and Sheppard Avenue East.
Later that day, a driver was stopped in a parking lot for a pre-arranged meeting with a woman. He drove her to a nearby location where two males got into the back. Again, one of them pulled out a handgun and demanded the keys. This time, the trio got away with the vehicle. Another incident happened September 10 in the area of Pharmacy Avenue and Sesame Street , involving a knife.Investigators were able to identify two suspects.
She has been charged with robbery with a firearm , robbery with an offensive weapon, disguise with intent , conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and possession of property obtained by crime .Oung is wanted for robbery with an offensive weapon and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.Etobicoke incidentPolice were called June 19 to the area of Albion Road and Islington Avenue.
