Firefighters were called to Queen Street and Balsam Avenue for reports of a sinkhole measuring approximately 10 feet wide by four feet deep.
No injuries were reported after a sinkhole opened underneath a school bus in the Beaches area outside an elementary school on Monday, Toronto Fire said.
Toronto Fire were called to Queen Street and Balsam Avenue at approximately 4:36 p.m., near St. Denis Catholic School, for reports of sinkhole that measured approximately 10 feet wide by four feet deep. According to Toronto Fire, there are no obvious signs of a gas leak in the school and they are currently canvassing the homes in the surrounding area.
