Tom Cruise conquered Toronto\u0027s gridlock traffic to surprise fans attending a screening of Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.

Following the film’s U.S. premiere Monday night in New York City, the actor headed north as part of a five-city blitz to promote the seventh instalment of his long-running action franchise on its opening day.In a video shared by Maurie Sherman from KiSS 92.5’s Roz and Mocha Show, Cruise joked that he was surprised to be in the city. “I didn’t know I was here,” he said grinning as he entered the auditorium.
“Thanks for being here. It’s such a great moment,” Cruise told moviegoers inside Scotiabank Theatre in downtown Toronto as he was joined by writer-director Christopher McQuarrie. “I love you guys. We dream of these moments to make these films for you and for you all to see it this kind of format. I’m so happy to see everybody here. Please enjoy the mix, the music, the picture … We love movies and we love you all.
