TOKYO: Tokyo shares closed higher for a fourth straight day on Wednesday, helped by a weaker yen and Japan’s first-quarter economic growth.
The rise in gross domestic product beat market expectations of 0.2%, after hopes of a rebound fell flat in the final quarter of last year.
