Today host Sarah Abo has broken down in tears following an interview with a Syrian volunteer who is desperately racing to recover people trapped under rubble following Monday's devastating dual earthquakes.

The recently appointed Syrian-born presenter and co-host Karl Stefanvoic spoke to Ismail Alabdullah – a volunteer with charity organisation the White Helmets - on Friday morning as rescue efforts continue in the devastated region.
