Tip Er Back with Allan Betts, Wade Murray, and Clive Currie are set to bring a night of entertainment to the stage of the Katherine Hughes Memorial Hall in the Irish Cultural Centre.CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Tip Er Back is making their way to the Katherine Hughes Memorial Hall for a night of tunes on Friday, Oct. 14.
The band, made up of Clive Currie, Wade Murray and Allan Betts, will play a mix of Maritime favourites, Gaelic tunes, country and some band originals. Betts, Currie and Murray were once part of the popular country group Kickin’ Country, which performed across the Island. Betts is not only a singer and musician but also a songwriter. He has penned the song, and I Owe Life to You, sung by many musicians, including P.E.I.’s Dino Dunsford.Darlene Bradley of Rice Point will also appear on stage as a soloist, adding harmonies and performing some of her favourites.The performance will take place at 582 North River Rd., with a 50/50 draw also taking place in the air-conditioned, wheelchair accessible and licensed hall.
