The party secretary-general said during his winding-up speech at the PKR convention on Saturday that this was because the Opposition had gone against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong after PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said there would be attempts to topple the present government. Saifuddin also criticised Perikatan for constantly politicising Islam, and said the best approach that should be taken by PKR in the coming six state elections is to focus on winning Kedah.
