NRL: Financial pressures could see the Tigers waving goodbye to one of Rugby League's favourite grounds, but would that be the right move?
It appears the death knell of Leichhardt Oval has been all but confirmed after NSW Premier Chris Minns revealed there is insufficient funds to put towards a revamp of the famous suburban ground.

New to Kayo?“I appreciate that have got to make a decision about their club and where they play their home games,” Minns said. The Tigers currently split their home games between Leichhardt and Campbelltown Stadium, playing five at each venue per season.
“These things have got to be finely balanced and I’d love to have the spare revenue to pump into a suburban stadium at the moment, but I don’t have it.”However, some of the facilities are in dire need of a face lift and when sold out, like it was for the Tigers’ win over Cronulla on Saturday night, it can pose a nightmare for those wishing to buy food and drink or use bathroom amentities.
