Dadah jenis methamphetamine bernilai RM400,000 dirampas dalam serbuan di tempat letak kereta sebuah pasar raya dekat Bercham semalam.
Lelaki berusia 40, 58 dan 61 tahun dipercayai pengedar dadah itu di tahan sepasukan pegawai dan anggota dari Bahagian Siasatan Jenayah Narkotik Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Ipoh pada pukul 2.20 petang.
Ketua Polis Perak, Datuk Seri Mohd. Yusri Hassan Basri berkata, hasil pemeriksaan ke atas sebuah kereta dinaiki salah seorang suspek menjumpai satu guni plastik di dalamnya berisi 10 bungkusan plastik mengandungi dadah disyaki jenis methamphetamine. Katanya, siasatan mendapati bekalan dadah itu diperoleh daripada seorang lelaki warga asing di utara negara.“Ujian saringan air kencing mendapati suspek berusia 58 tahun positif dadah jenis methamphetamine. Permohonan reman terhadap kesemua suspek akan dijalankan di Mahkamah Majistret Ipoh hari ini,” katanya di sini hari ini.
Menurut beliau, tindakan juga diambil di bawah Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1988 dengan menyita sebuah kereta dianggarkan bernilai RM12,000 dan wang tunai RM2,200. “Siasatan lanjut kes ini dijalankan mengikut Seksyen 39B dan Seksyen 15 Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952,” katanya. – UTUSAN
