THUNDER BAY — One of the most successful hospital fundraisers in Canada is experiencing a temporary glitch with a web portal, which is making it difficult for some people to purchase tickets.
The website provider for the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation's 50/50 draw "has been having some problems, probably since yesterday afternoon," Kelly Arnold, director of engagement for the foundation, explained Tuesday morning. "It's kind of off and on, so we have a point when some people can get in, but other people can't. It's kind of hit-and-miss right now."People can still go directly to an alternate website for purchasing tickets to the popular lottery. The winner of the September draw took home well over half a million dollars.
