Cameron Schmidt, Chase Harrington and Ryder Green invited to tryout camp in Whistler Dec. 16-18
Three Prince George hockey players will gather in Whistler the weekend before Christmas for the final tryouts to determine B.C.’s team for the 2023 Canada Winter Games.
Ryder Green, the third Prince George minor hockey product invited to the camp, is one of three goalies in the hunt for two netminding positions on the 20-player team. Harrington is also lighting it up as a member of the Delta Academy U-18 prep and in eight games he’s collected six goals and nine assists for 15 points. The 15-year-old Harrington made his WHL debut with the Chiefs on Oct. 22 in a game against the Seattle Thunderbirds in Kent, Wash.
