Out of nowhere, a tiny handful of non-backwards compatible Xbox 360 games have been discounted ahead of the 360 store shutdown next week.

While we weren't expecting any new titles to be added to the massive list of 150+ non-backward compatible Xbox 360 games on sale, we have just picked up surprise discounts on a tiny handful of non-backward compatible Xbox 360 games in the latest weekly Xbox sale. With the Xbox 360 Store closing next week, many had hoped that Microsoft's final Xbox 360 sales update would be a big one. Sadly, it turned out to be a massive disappointment, with not a single new 360 game receiving a discount.

At the time, Microsoft said it 'expected' that the final sale on July 16 would be it and that no more games would receive price reductions, but now, three more non-backwards compatible Xbox 360 games from developer Ska Studios have gone on sale.
