A wild road rage incident in Bankstown, which included three crashes and a street brawl, has prompted police to seek help from the public. 7NEWS
were told three people in a white ute and a male driver of a black ute began arguing in Restwell St at Bankstown at 8.40pm on Tuesday.
The two vehicles drove away, police were told, but then collided at the intersection of Restwell and Macauley Streets.A second collision then occurred between the same vehicles before the black ute left the scene. The three people in the white ute - a 44-year-old male driver, a 21-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman - reported the incident to police at Bankstown Police Station.
The trio left the police station about 9.30pm and returned to the intersection of Restwell and Macauley Streets, where a third crash involving the same vehicles occurred. A short time later, police were called to the scene with reports the three occupants from the white ute were being assaulted at the scene by up to eight people.The three people from the white ute were treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries. None were taken to hospital.
