Mathieu St-Onge, Tommy Cormier, Loick Daigle and Maxime Pellerin chipped in with assists for the Tigres, who took a 4-1 advantage into the second intermission. Owen Hollingsworth, assisted by Jarrett Todd and Alexandre Tessier, netted the lone goal for the Islanders .Winning goaltender Gabriel D’Aigle stopped 19 of 20 shots. Franky Lapenna turned aside 34 of the 38 shots he faced for the Islanders.
The Tigres went 1-for-5 on the power play while the Islanders failed to score on their four man advantages.The Islanders will look to bounce back on home ice Dec. 4 against the Cape Breton Eagles at 7 p.m. on Hockey Fights Cancer Night.
