This new suitcase is supposed to make it easier to walk down an airplane aisle:
As travelers, we've all realized that space on an airplane is only getting more cramped. But that still doesn't mean you'll get used navigating those narrow aisles with a carry-on that seems to bump every armrest along the way. And while there's nothing that can be done for the size of the walkway, one luggage company is hoping to make the walk through the plane a little less frustrating. How? By introducing a"push" suitcase.
"With the positioning of the handle and the fixed wheels on the back of the bag, the SIX will only go where the driver intends it to," G-RO founder and designer Netta Shalgi told me."The bag is pushed and steered by the counterbalance of your body weight so that it won't bump into seats or other travelers like a standard spinner bag."
It's this design that also makes the"healthiest, most ergonomic carry-on" ever, according to the brand. Lugging or rolling other bags, uses muscle groups that we don't regularly activate, while pushing does reducing strain on our bodies. Plus, the extendable handle is extra-long, which makes it easier to maneuver and helps taller travelers to walk without hunching over.
