A homicide investigation has been launched after a man’s body was found along a busy road in Brisbane’s north overnight.

Police allege they found a teenager running with a 45-centimetre knife concealed in a sheath under his clothes after a body was found on a busy Brisbane road overnight.

Police said they then found two teens, a male and a female, near the scene and were questioning them. “A large knife, almost a small machete. At that time the knife was in a sheath,” Massingham said, adding preliminary evidence suggested the dead man had been stabbed.
