This is the largest donation ever gifted to the Scarborough Health Network.

The Scarborough Health Network and the University of Toronto are being handed what officials describe as a “transformational gift” meant to bolster health care in the eastern GTA.

The SHN will receive the lion’s share of the funding at $50 million, making it the largest donation in the network’s history. “We are going to be able to do way more, provide better care in emergency departments and critical care and mental health in particular, so very excited about this.”
