These were the words of Filipino-American singer Francisco Martin after he finished in the top 5 of the 18th season of “American Idol” on Sunday .
Describing his journey as an “amazing experience overall,” Martin flashed a smile in his first Instagram post following the West Coast airing of the all remote live finale.
“Still, I’ve got this smile on my face. I’ve grown so much as a human and as an artist throughout these few past months and I’ll never forget that. I’ve met a great deal of life long friends, unforgettable memories and have gained the support of all you beautiful souls,” he said. Martin also said that “to be able to have inspired many of you to follow their dreams is something I never thought would’ve happen in a million years.”
