Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to flood into Liverpool in coming weeks as pop superstar Taylor Swift lands in the city. The global sensation is playing three sell-out shows at Liverpool FC's Anfield Stadium on June 13, 14 and 15 and many Swifties will be relying on public transport to get between the city centre and the stadium. This could be made more difficult after news that around 500 bus drivers in the city are set to go on strike at the same time as the concerts.

The Unite union said the strike dispute is over a 'huge disparity' between the pay of Stagecoach drivers and their equivalents at Arriva, the other major bus company operating in the city. The union says Arriva drivers are paid £1.
