British broadcaster Dan Wootton has questioned where the Sussexes go next after they were sacked by Spotify.
Spotify’s Head of Podcast Innovation and Monetisation called the Sussexes “grifters” after they parted ways with the streaming giant.
“This is cataclysmic, this is a disaster. I mean who do they blame for this?” he told Peta Credlin on Sky News Australia. “In fact, many of those men in grey suits said the same thing about Harry and Meghan. They were lazy, they were entitled, they only cared about themselves. Now they’ve had that same damning verdict from the woke companies who were meant to be their friends. Where this couple goes next is a major question.”British broadcaster Dan Wootton said the scrapping of Harry and Meghan's Spotify deal was a"disaster".
“I think it’s really important to contrast the failure of Harry and Meghan in Hollywood – remember they said they were moving to help change the world – with Prince William, who planned to try and end homelessness in the UK, now look it’s a lofty ambition indeed but it’s not something he has to be doing, it’s not something he’s been paid to do, it’s because that guy has a genuine belief in public service.

Harry and Meghan need to use their ‘parting of ways’ with Spotify as a ‘reassessment’It’s pretty “shocking” for a Spotify executive to use such a word as “grifters” to talk about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following the scrapping of their Spotify deal, says The Daily Mirror Royal Editor Russell Myers. “And I think that they will probably need to use this sort of parting of ways to have a bit of a reassessment of where they go next in this audio space,” Mr Myers told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo.
