Family and friends are mourning the loss of a young couple who died in a road crash in South Australia's Mid North.
Two people died, while a man suffered serious injuriesJaxson Montague, 19, and Ashanti Lee Smith, 17, died at the scene at Lochiel on Tuesday night.Its front passenger — a 46-year-old Port Pirie man — was airlifted to Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries.Police and emergency services at the scene of the crash on Augusta Highway at Lochiel.
"This is a nightmare. I wish [it] was just that and we would wake up and all is OK," Elizabeth Smart wrote online. "[Jaxson] was such a wonderful person, [who] treated you like a queen. We loved him just as much you both will be missed."
