What an amazing achievement! These bright Malaysians have been accepted into Harvard College.
Within that list, three Malaysians were accepted. These three Malaysians are Ho Shu Xin from Ipoh, and Pua E Rick and Sydny Lum from Kuala Lumpur.
Nadiah Wan, an alumni interviewer for Harvard College and Harvard Club of Malaysia president, posted a Facebook post congratulating the three young adults. “…Harvard college received 56,937 applications in total with an acceptance rate of 3.41%. Among a total of 1,942 students, the international students who were admitted takes up 14.5%, and the trio are part of the 14.5%.
Both Ho Shu Xin and Sydny Lum are scholarships holders in their current studies. Ho Shu Xin is looking to major in Educational Psychology, and Sydny Lum intends to major in Economics; whereas Pua E Rick will pursue his studies in Biological Sciences.
