Former Liberal MP Nicolle Flint says there should always be a place in the Liberal Party for individuals to hold conservative views.

Ms Flint’s remarks come as Liberal MP Moria Deeming faces an expulsion motion from the Liberal Party’s parliamentary room after attending the ‘Let Women Speak’ rally.

“It’s Moria’s right to hold conservative Christian views or conservative views,” Ms Flint told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “I’m upset to hear anyone suggest the Liberal Party isn’t a broad church where you can express views that are not necessarily held by … 50, 60, 70, 80 per cent of the population.
